Danny Crow scored twice as Cambridge beat Hayes & Yeading to record their sixth successive home win.
Rory McAuley nodded the home side ahead and Crow doubled the lead soon after when he tapped in from close range.
The visitors were given hope of a comeback when Adam Green fired in from 20 yards.
But Crow struck from the edge of the area to restore the two-goal advantage and Adam Marriott rounded off the win with an 18-yard free-kick.
