Dover boss Hessenthaler aims Whites for the play-offs
Hessenthaler is now looking forward to a promotion fight
Dover manager Andy Hessenthaler believes his injury hit squad will make the Blue Square South play-offs.
The Whites are attempting to complete a third straight promotion under Hessenthaler's guidance, but they have been coping with just 14 fit players.
"We've got a bit of momentum going at the moment, four wins on the bounce, so we're looking good," Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent.
"If we keep performing the way we are then we'll do it."
He added: "But we still know there's a long way to go.
"We've got another tough game away at Hampton and Richmond on Tuesday, which is our game in hand and that could go a long way to cementing us in the play-offs.
"But we're on limited resources at the minute, we're down to 14 fit players, and I'm naming myself on the bench."
Hessenthaler, who is 44 and made over 500 league appearances during a remarkable playing career, continued: "So we have got a few problems and I will be trying to bring a couple of players in before the deadline on Wednesday night."
Hessenthaler confirmed he has strengthened his defensive options by bringing in Barnet's 24-year-old left-back Ahmed Deen on loan. Deen, who has made 14 appearances for the Bees this season, will team-up with Barnet team-mates Daniel Leach and Joe Tabiri, also currently on loan at the Crabble Athletic Ground.
Dover were top of the table early in the season, but suffered a dip in form after Christmas.
