Mansfield 2-0 Altrincham

Goals from Scott Garner and Nathan Arnold gave Mansfield a 2-0 win over mid-table rivals Altrincham.

Defender Garner gave the home side the lead midway through the first half with a close-range finish.

Winger Arnold doubled the Stags' advantage seven minutes after the break when he fired past Alty keeper Richard Acton from 12 yards.

Anthony Danylyk went close for the visitors, hitting the crossbar with a 25-yard volley.
