Ryan Blott has scored 20 goals for Scarborough Athletic this season
Scarborough Athletic striker Ryan Blott became the first player in the club's history to score five goals in a game as they beat Yorkshire Amateur.
Penalties from Amateur's Richard Gaffney and Athletic's Scott Phillips completed the 6-1 score.
Blott told BBC Radio York: "You don't really think about (making history) much, as long as we go up this season."
Scarborough stayed four points clear at the top of Koolsport NCEL Division One as all the top four sides won.
Blott is the only survivor of the old Scarborough Football Club from before they were wound up in 2007.
He told BBC Radio York: "It feels good to be back at Scarborough and get the club going and hopefully we can get a ground back in the town."
(The manager) wants 30 goals out of me this season so, hopefully 30 and we'll see from there

Blott's goals featured a one-on-one, a header, a close-range finish, a near-post drive, and a spectacular free-kick from wide left which curled into the top right-hand corner in stoppage time.
"I didn't intend to do it but you get taught "aim for the back post, hard," and it just floated into the back of the goal," Blott said of his last score.
"I'm not giving him the last goal, it was a centre," added his manager Brian France, "but he's done well, five goals, you can't ask for more than that."
The stand at Bracken Edge could not cope with the hundreds of Scarborough fans and Blott added: "It's brilliant, there's nowhere like it in the league.
And Blott has been given a clear indication from his manager of what is required of him.
"Brian said to me at the end of last season he wants 30 goals out of me this season so, hopefully I'll get 30 and we'll see from there."
