Ebbsfleet recorded their first win of the Blue Square Premier season with a deserved 2-0 victory over Torquay.
Luke Moore put the visitors ahead after 26 minutes as he cut inside two defenders before firing the ball into the bottom corner via a deflection.
Torquay offered little in attack, and Ebbsfleet made sure of the win when substitute John Akinde latched onto a long ball to slot home.
Stacy Long could have added a third but his weak shot was easily saved.
