Worcester City's manager Richard Dryden has told BBC Hereford and Worcester he's delighted that Chris Smith will be staying at St George's Lane.
City's board rejected an offer for the central defender from their Blue Square North rivals AFC Telford United and Dryden said Smith is key to his plans:
"I've got big ambitions for the club and we're steadily getting there.
"When I saw Chris I thought that he was one rock I needed in the side and that hasn't changed at all."
