The C&G Trophy format changed this year with teams playing in North and South Conferences with the winner of each group advancing to the final at Lord's on 26 August.
Lancashire pipped Durham by two points in the North Conference to meet Sussex in the final.
LANCASHIRE'S PATH TO THE C&G FINAL
North Conference, 23 April: bt Leics by 69 runs
England seamer Sajid Mahmood grabbed three wickets as Lancs bowled out Leicestershire for 125 to win a low-scoring opening group match by 69 runs.
Loye was a consistent scorer for Lancs in the qualifying games

Australian Andrew Crook hit four fours in a joint top-score of 42, sharing 63 for the second wicket with Mal Loye, the highest partnership of the match.
North Conference, 1 May: bt Worcs by 119 runs
Loye was in the runs again as Lancs posted 248-5 at New Road, hitting eight fours and a six in 64, with Stuart Law adding six fours and a six in an unbeaten 70 from 62 balls.
Tom Smith captured three wickets for the second match in succession, finishing with 3-17 from eight overs.
North Conference, 7 May: bt Northants by 8 wkts (D/L method)
Andrew Flintoff celebrated a rare appearance for Lancs with three wickets as the Red Rose county restricted Northants to 172-9 from 45 overs at Wantage Road.
Flintoff was not required with the bat as Brad Hodge and Law shared an unbroken third wicket stand of 116 to guide their team to victory, Law making 63 from as many balls.
North Conference, 14 May: bt Durham by 125 runs
Centuries from Loye and Hodge maintained Lancashire's 100% record with an emphatic win at Old Trafford.
Despite a rare failure from Law, dismissed by the returning Steve Harmison, Lancs posted a formidable 307-5, and Glen Chapple and leg-spinner Simon Marshall grabbed three wickets apiece as Durham were polished off in the 44th over.
North Conference, 28 May: lost to Yorkshire by 6 wkts
The first defeat of the campaign, despite a century opening stand from Loye and skipper Mark Chilton and a useful total of 287-9.

Loye hit three sixes in his 95 but an unbeaten 92 from Darren Lehmann guided old adversaries Yorkshire to victory in the penultimate over.
North Conference, 29 May: no result v Notts
A wet day in Manchester prevented a conclusion, with Notts posting 61-6 from 19 overs after Dominic Cork removed dangerman David Hussey for a duck and Tom Smith took 2-12 in five overs.
Loye and Chilton took Lancs to 15-0 in the third over before the match was abandoned.
North Conference, 4 June: bt Scotland by 5 wkts
A visit to Edinburgh resulted in a comfortable win, with stalwart seamer Chapple returning the outstanding figures of 4-23 from his 10 overs.
Chasing 168, Lancs slipped to 28-3 but Law hit 11 fours in his 78, sharing 128 with Luke Sutton, who remained unbeaten on 53 to steer his team home in 40 overs.
North Conference, 11 June: bt Derbyshire by 9 wkts
A superb unbeaten century from Loye ensured a commanding win over David Houghton's side at Old Trafford.
Cork underlined his value as opening bowler again with 4-35 as Derbyshire were dismissed for 193, and Loye hit 14 fours and a six in 120 from 133 balls to wrap things up.
North Conference, 25 June: bt Warwicks by 3 wkts
Lancashire completed their group programme with their seventh win out of nine matches.
Cork was wicketless on this occasion at Edgbaston, redoubtable left-arm spinner Gary Keedy the most successful bowler with 2-48 from his 10 overs as Warwickshire posted 249-5.
Loye ensured an explosive start to the reply, firing eight fours and four sixes in 60 from 44 balls, and though Nathan Astle made nought, Law smashed 10 fours in his 68 and Cork saw his team home with an undefeated 33.
