Paul have opened up a 22-point lead at the top of the ECB Cornwall Premier League after their top-of-the-table win over local rivals St Just. St Just made 156 all out and Paul won by five wickets, with half-centuries for Kelvin Snell and Justin Stephens. Fourth-placed Callington lost further ground after drawing at home with St Austell, who made 208-9. The hosts replied with 181-8. Grampound Road's good run continued with a win over Werrington. Werrington were dismissed for just 65 with Chris Roberts taking five wickets. Grampound Road lost two wickets in knocking the runs off. Falmouth won by five wickets at Truro after the home team made 189 all out. Falmouth made 190-5 in reply. Newquay won their bottom-of-the-table clash at Penzance by 20 runs. Newquay made 201 all out before Penzance were dismissed for 181, with Corey Harris taking five wickets.
