Harrogate chairman Miles Rawlings said their first Yorkshire Premier League win of the season on Monday against Scarborough was a "huge boost".
Harrogate entertain fellow strugglers Sheffield Collegiate on Saturday.
Scarborough skipper Darren Harland will want a quick response to that defeat when they go to Sheffield United.
York hope that batsman Dan Wilson can keep up his outstanding form of 677 runs in seven games when they take on Driffield at Clifton Park.
Rawlings did not expect Harrogate to defend the total they set of 200.
He said: "It wasn't enough on the wicket because it was perfect really, we should have scored at least 250. David Stiff bowled magnificently (4-42), that was the performance of the match."
Rawlings fancies Harrogate's chances of pulling off a second win in a row against Collegiate. "If they play the same as they did on Monday we must stand a good chance."

It's all well and good scoring 370-odd, the job's not finished. We didn't come here to take six, we really needed to take eight points as far as the league table goes

Scarborough's batsmen failed to deliver but their bowlers were on form. James Finch and Simon Tennant picked up another three wickets each against Harrogate.
Harland said: "That's not been our problem. Mike Thompson, it hasn't really happened for him yet but it will do eventually. Piet [Rinke] has done really well opening up and Ash [Lyth] at first change.
"Certainly Finch and Tennant have taken good wickets this year. Finch will be on about 15 or 20 wickets already so it's a great start for him."
The League table has a familiar look to it with Barnsley and York first and second respectively. Barnsley have won all their seven games, while York have free-scoring opener Wilson.
The Australian broke the League's first-wicket partnership record of 311 last Saturday against Castleford with 324 runs in tandem with Duncan Snell, but revealed they celebrated the moment prematurely.
He told BBC Radio York: "We both actually thought it was about 280, and one of the umpires thought it was 280 as well so we thought we'd passed it before we actually had.
"[Later] all the boys started clapping when I was on 199. We thought they'd gone off a bit early for my 200 but it was obviously then that we'd passed the record."
York will expect the full eight points from the visit of third-from-bottom Driffield. Wilson added: "With being 12 points behind Barnsley we really needed to get the eight points [against Castleford] and we spoke about that at change of innings.
"It's all well and good scoring 370-odd, the job's not finished. We didn't come here to take six, we really needed to take eight points as far as the league table goes."
