Top sides keep unbeaten records

The top sides in the ICC's World Cricket League Division Five tournament all kept their unbeaten records after three matches on Monday.

Nepal stay top of Group A after defeating Norway by 108 runs.

Mahaboob Alam followed up his 10-wicket haul against Mozambique with 2 for 10 with the ball and 51 runs.

The USA beat Vanuatu by seven wickets to stay top with the Nepalese. Vanuatu could only manage 88-9 which the USA matched in 19.2 overs.

Afghanistan stay top with Jersey in Group B after beating Botswana by seven wickets.

Botswana were all out for 128 with Mohammad Nabi taking four wickets for 20 runs.

Man of the match Karim Khan Sedeq scored 62 in reply as the Afghans reached their target of 129 in just under 30 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Nepal win by 108 runs

Japan v Singapore

The top two sides in each group will make the semi-finals, with the winners gaining promotion to Division Four.

They will face Hong Kong, Fiji, Italy and hosts Tanzania in the WCL Division Four tournament in Dar Es Salaam from 4 to 11 October.

The top two sides will then be promoted to Division Three.

The eventual goal is qualification for the Cricket World Cup.

The top four sides in Division One will join the 10 full ICC members for the 2011 World Cup which is being held in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
