England's reply gets off to a dismal start when Zaheer arrows one through Alistair Cook's defence in the first over

And Prior cuts Agarkar to Powar at third man before Bell leaves one that hits off stump and England are 35-3

Pietersen adds 18 but goes for one pull shot too many - Piyush Chawla takes the catch and Agarkar has three wickets

But any thoughts of an early finish are dashed by Ravi Bopara and Broad who steady the innings to take England past 150-7

The duo then set a record eighth-wicket partnership for England in ODIs as they edge their side closer to victory
