Magners League champions Leinster trounced Edinburgh at the RDS.
A hat-trick of tries by Luke Fitzgerald and further touchdowns by John Fogarty, Shane Jennings and Chris Keane helped the Irish province to a convincing win.
Fly-half Felipe Contepomi landed five conversions and four penalties to end with a personal tally of 22 points.
Edinburgh's only points came from first-half penalties by Phil Godman and Chris Paterson as Leinster recorded their first win of the campaign.
The Scots, who were missing several frontline players, enjoyed early dominance but Leinster led 6-3 when Fitzgerald skated over for his opening try after 29 minutes.
Leinster's winger darted over for his second try five minutes later and with the aid of Contepomi's accurate kicking, the home side led 20-6 at the break.
The Argentinian and O'Driscoll helped create Fitzgerald's third score and replacement hooker Fogarty secured the bonus point, crowning his home debut with a try after Edinburgh were caught napping at a lineout.
Jennings and Keane completed the rout and Contepomi continued his accuracy with the boot, ending the game with nine successful place-kicks from 11 attempts.
