New Cornish Pirates signing Brian Tuohy was part of the Ireland A side who eased to a 46-9 win over the USA in the Churchill Cup on Wednesday.
Tuohy played the full 80 minutes as Ireland ran in seven tries, conceding just three penalties in Kingston.
The victory sets the Irish up for a tough game on Saturday against the England Saxons in Toronto on Saturday.
Ireland are second in the Churchill Cup table, behind the Saxons on scoring difference.
