Bromley added the World Cup crown to a third European title

Britain's Kristan Bromley claimed his second bob skeleton World Cup crown after finishing sixth in the final race of the season in Winterberg, Germany.
Latvian Martins Dukurs won the race but sixth was good enough for Bromley to top the final points standings.
Bromley, based in Sheffield, said: "I'm delighted to be flying the flag for the UK as the 2008 World Cup champion.
"This victory will hopefully show the UK that there are medals to be won at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010."
Bromley, 35, last won the World Cup in the 2003/4 season but finished fifth at the 2006 Turin Olympics despite being third after his first run at the Cesana Pariol track.
But he has bounced back this season to add the World Cup crown to a third European title that he won in January.
Skeleton, which has won two medals at the last two Olympics, with Shelley Rudman claiming silver in Turin in 2006 and Alex Coomber a bronze four years earlier, has seen its funding until the 2010 Games more than doubled from £815,000 to almost £2m.
And it seems to be paying dividends already with three British sliders in the men's top 10 - Bromley first, Anthony Sawyer 6th with two podiums and Adam Pengilly 10th with one top three finish this season.
In the women's World Cup, Amy Williams came seventh overall while Olympic medallist Rudman began competing in lower ranked competitions towards the end of the season after returning to the sport following the birth of her daughter Ella Marie in October.
