Gary McFarlane shot a 63 at L'Ancresse Golf course in the Centenary Trophy to better the 22-year-old course record.
Playing off a handicap of one, it amounted to a net eight-under-par 62 for McFarlane.
The record was previously held by Bobby Eggo who carded a 64 in 1986 and has since repeated it half a dozen times.
Club captain Howard Mauger said, "It's an enormous achievement. Gary also holds the record at La Grande Mare as well - so that's something of a coup."
