Williams scored 21 goals in 110 games for Yeovil between 2002 and 2004
Bristol City midfielder Gavin Williams has returned to League One side Yeovil Town on a one-month loan deal.
Williams, 29, joined City in 2008 after spells at West Ham and Ipswich but has had just two league starts this season.
And he is no stranger to Huish Park, or Glovers manager Terry Skiverton, having played for Yeovil between 2002 and 2004, scoring 21 goals in 110 games.
"I like the way Terry thinks about football so it was a no-brainer," Williams told BBC Somerset.
"Obviously, I was getting frustrated at Bristol, not playing, so when the opportunity arose to come and get some games I thought it was a good idea.
"I've had some good times here and we were a successful team so it's good to be back.
"Hopefully we can push on and finish as high up the league as possible."
