The final as it happened
All the action from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff as defending champions Leicester win a second successive Heineken Cup final against Irish province Munster.
Latest action first. (All times BST) Full-time score: Leicester 15-9 Munster 1641: Munster are awarded a scrum almost on the Leicester line, but unsighted referee Jutge misses Tigers flanker Neil Back deliberately slapping the ball out of scrum-half Peter Stringer's hands on the put-in. Healey clears to touch and Jutge whistles for the end of the match. 1638: A Corry knock-on at a line-out gives Munster a scrum deep in the Leicester 22, but the Tigers defence repel the waves of red attacks. 1637: The Irish province launch another attack through their backline, but Staunton is bundled into touch by Stimpson in the left corner. 1634: Munster continue to pressurise the Tigers, O'Gara's kick ahead forcing the champions into a line-out close to their own line, but Dorian West finds Corry at the tail. 1630: O'Gara misses another crucial opportunity to get Munster back in the game when his penalty drifts agonisingly wide of the uprights. 1628: Munster hit back immediately when replacement Mullins beats two defenders and releases O'Neill for the right corner. But after consulting a television replay, referee Joel Jutge rules the wing had touched the corner flag, under pressure from Healey's tackle, in the process of touching down.
1626: Stimpson rediscovers his kicking touch as he boots over a long-range penalty to extend the Tigers lead. 1625: Munster send on further reinforcements with Jeremy Staunton replacing Crotty at full-back and Mike Mullins coming on for Rob Henderson in the centre. 1622: A furious Garforth is again penalised for not binding properly at the scrummage, but O'Gara chooses a bad time to miss his first kick at goal of the afternoon. 1619: Clohessy troops off for the final time in a Munster shirt, to be replaced by Marcus Horan, while Mick O'Driscoll replaces Paul O'Connell at lock.
1615: From the second line-out, Healey spots a gap and brushes past O'Gara's weak tackle to put Leicester in front for the first time. Stimpson converts to put the champions in command. 1614: A trademark Healey break launches Leicester on a wave of attacks, and when Munster twice concede penalties, the Tigers decline a shot at goal in favour of kicks to touch. 1612: Leicester's set-piece is again under pressure as O'Connell wins another line-out on the Tigers throw. 1610: Munster send on former Australia No 8 Jim Williams for Anthony Foley. 1607: Stimpson hesitates and floats a sloppy ball out to scrum-half Jamie Hamilton, who is clobbered by the Munster tacklers. Hamilton is carried off, to be replaced by Harry Ellis.
1605: Leicester prop Darren Garforth is penalised again at the scrummage and O'Gara slots home a superb penalty from 54 metres to edge Munster further ahead. 1602: Munster lock Paul O'Connell steals a Leicester line-out, and Martin Johnson receives a punch on the head from Galwey as the Tigers captain attempts to illegally pull down the Munster maul. 1557: Tigers No 8 Martin Corry drops Crotty's kick ahead, but Leicester recover to clear the danger. 1557: O'Gara launches a kick-off deep into Leicester territory to start the second half.
HT: Leicester 5-6 Munster 1541: Murphy steps inside two Munster forwards and finds Stimpson on his outside, but the full-back's kick to the line is deflected into touch by his opposite number Dominic Crotty. 1538: O'Gara drills a low kick into touch metres from the Leicester line, but the champions again find a reliable line-out option in Kay. 1535: Munster capitalise on an ambitious Tigers counter attack to again test Stimpson, but the full-back steps away from the on-rushing red shirts to clear the danger. 1533: O'Gara sends a dangerous kick into the Leicester 22 from a scrum on halfway, but Stimpson deals with the bouncing ball well to relieve the pressure. 1530: Veteran Munster lock Mick Galwey goes on a charge up the middle, but the captain finds himself isolated and is penalised for not releasing.
1525: Healey launches Stimpson on a charge into the line to create a two-man overlap down the right. The full-back cuts inside two Munster defenders before releasing Murphy for the opening try of the game. Stimpson is unable to convert from the touchline. 1522: A half-break from Healey releases Geordan Murphy down the right wing, but the Irishman is turned over and O'Gara clears down-field.
1519: Leicester flanker Lewis Moody is penalised for coming round the wrong side of a ruck and O'Gara exacts punishment with a penalty from 40 metres. 1517: Rowntree is penalised as Munster wheel a Leicester scrummage. 1515: Tempers start to fray as Leicester flanker Neil Back and Clohessy are involved in a mini dust-up, while Healey requires treatment for a heavy tackle. 1513: O'Gara leads a Munster break-out before he is brought down with a crunching tackle from Tuilagi. 1510: Tigers lock Ben Kay wins a Munster line-out in their 22, but Leicester are penalised for having an extra man in the line-out. 1507: Leicester take play into the Munster half but with time to line up his kick, Stimpson is narrowly wide with a drop goal attempt.
1506: Tigers prop Graham Rowntree is penalised for going over the top, and Munster fly-half Ronan O'Gara posts the first points of the game with a penalty. 1503: Munster prop Peter Clohessy is caught offside at the back of a Leicester ruck, but full-back Tim Stimpson drags his penalty attempt wide. 1501: Tigers wing Freddie Tuilagi pushes Munster wing John Kelly as he tries to field a kick ahead, and the Samoan's try is rightly disallowed. 1500: Austin Healey, playing at fly-half for Leicester, kicks off.
