Midfielder Gary Roberts has agreed to sign a two-and-a-half year deal to stay with Yeovil until June 2011.
The 21-year-old has impressed since joining on loan from Crewe in the summer, prompting the Glovers to seek to make the deal permanent.
"We are delighted with him as he has made so much progress," boss Russell Slade told the club's website.
"We've got him back on track and as you will see he can be an exciting player with a great range of passing."
"He has fitted in really well at Yeovil and we are expecting great things from him in the future," he added.
Roberts will formally make the permanent move to Huish Park when the transfer window reopens in January.
