Torquay United centre back Chris Todd says the club is "heartbroken" after their 4-1 second leg loss to his former club Exeter City in the play-offs.
But Todd hopes his side will bounce back for the FA Trophy final against Ebbsfleet at Wembley on Saturday.
"We're very heartbroken as a whole club at the moment. But we have to pick ourselves up for Saturday," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"A bit of silverware would be great for everybody and a big lift for us."
And Todd, who captained Exeter in last season's play-off final, said his side's play-off defeat shoud not affect their chances at Wembley.
"It's going to be playing on our minds that we could be there. But going into this final is something everybody deserves to do with the club, to try to bring something home for the club," he said.
"Going into next season we want to go on and win the title."
