Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson hit out at his side following their 1-0 friendly defeat at Blue Square Premier side York City on Wednesday.
York midfielder Ben Wilkinson grabbed the only goal of the game and Wilson admits he was frustrated with the lack of intensity to his side's play.
"We never really got out of the blocks in the game," he told the club website.
"It was our most lacklustre performance of the season so far. The tempo wasn't in our game and we weren't pressing."
