Bristol City have sealed the signing of Welsh international Gavin Williams from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old former West Ham midfielder has agreed a two-year contract at Ashton Gate after passing his medical on Friday.
Williams began his career at Hereford and had two seasons at Upton Park with the Hammers between 2004 and 2006.
He moved to Ipswich for £300,000 but found his first-team chances limited by injury in 2007/08.
