Rachel Cawthorn is hopeful of success at the 2012 Olympics

London 2012 Olympics prospect Rachel Cawthorn claimed gold for Great Britain in the 1,000m kayaking event at the World Cup in Poznan, Poland. The flat-water kayaker added to the silver she picked up in Saturday's K1 500m race by powering to victory in a time of three minutes 55.5 seconds. Lucy Wainwright and Lani Belcher added a bronze in the women's K2 event. Jess Walker, Louisa Sawers, Wainwright and Hayleigh Mason came fifth in the K4 in an impressive display by Britain.
