Froch won a unanimous decision in the WBC super-middleweight title bout at the Nottingham Arena on Saturday night.
Froch beat Canadian Jean Pascal, who was also undefeated going into the WBC title fight.
Froch won on points with the judges scoring the fight: 118-110, 117-111, 116-112.
Froch dominated the early rounds but Pascal fought back later in the fight.
Both Pascal and Froch suffered cuts to the head during the battle.
Froch said after his victory that he wants to tempt Joe Calzaghe into one last fight.
Promotor Mick Hennessy said Froch has become a "marquee fighter".
Froch remains undefeated after 24 professional fights.
