Reid had few answers to Froch's power and precision

Carl Froch easily defended his British super-middleweight title by stopping former WBC champion Robin Reid after five rounds in Nottingham.
Froch, 30, took control from the start and Reid twice took a standing count before failing to come out of his corner at the start of the sixth round.
"It was a good fight for me and a great peformance by myself," Froch said.
"I have had seven months off after a big knee operation so I eased into it but I will go home a happy man."
Froch's victory means he is number one challenger for Joe Calzaghe's WBC belt.

606: DEBATE

The Welshman's hopes of a light-heavyweight showdown with Bernard Hopkins in 2008 make that fight unlikely.
But Froch says he is determined to face Calzaghe, whatever the weight.
"I consider myself world class now," the Nottingham fighter added. "I am on Joe's trail at the moment and I have already said I am willing to step up to light-heavyweight.
"There are other fights out there for me - Jurgen Breahmer and Christian Sannavia - but Joe Calzaghe is the big one for me."
