Newsday

Available for over a year

British Prime Minister Theresa May has suffered three defeats in parliament as she set out to sell her Breixt deal to sceptical MPs. Fuel tax rises which have led to weeks of violent protests in France have now been postponed for six months. The protests have hit major cities, causing damage and disruption over the past three weekends. The Rwandan opposition politician Diane Rwigara faces up to 22 years in prison on charges of inciting insurrection and forgery. She is supposed to be back in court on Thursday.
