Nicky Campbell asks listeners: Will the migrant deal work?
Voice of the UKAvailable for over a year
The UK government's latest plan to reduce the number of people crossing the Channel will come into effect from tomorrow. The "one in one out" scheme means some migrants will be detained and returned to France, while the same number of legitimate asylum seekers - who've applied legally - will be accepted by the UK. The Home Secretary has declined to put a figure on how many people will be detained.
