Lauren Rowles: Competing as a new parent

Paris: Grassroots to Glory

Available for over a year

The two-time Paralympic rowing champion says family old and new is driving her forward, aiming for a third para-rowing gold in Paris with her partner Jude and newborn son Noah. The Bromsgrove-born athlete will compete with a new rowing partner, Burnley’s Gregg Stevenson, in the mixed doubles sculls this summer. She’s been telling our reporter Dan Pallett how her son is always on her mind on the water, and how he's ‘the best thing that’s ever happened’ to her and Jude.
