The wedding season is in full swing and the sound of weddings in the UK is as diverse as Jewish Klezmer classics to Nigerian fuji rhythms.
As part of the World on your Street project, Radio 3 has kicked off a national search for the best UK wedding songs in partnership with a host of outfits including the BBC Asian Network, Turkish newspaper Olay, the Nigerian Magazine Focus and the Jewish.co.uk website.
Maud Hand went in search of singers and songs which began in Woodford, North East London with the wedding of orthodox Jewish couple, Hannah and Shlomo Levicki. Visit Radio 3's 'World on your Street' website to listen to the winners in the search for the UK's favourite wedding songs.
