Fanny Waterman
As we speak pianists from across the globe are preparing to tickle the ivories for the prestigious Leeds International Pianoforte Competition.

It's forty years since the first of these events was staged by Dr Fanny Waterman who joins Jenni to explain why she's still passionate so about teaching music, at the age of 83!
Leeds International Piano Competition runs until 30 September and the finals will be broadcaast on Radio 3 and BBC4.
