Kathryn Harrison Tuesday 13 August 2002
The American author Kathryn Harrison is probably best known for her disturbingly frank account of her love affair with her own father.

Now in her latest novel The Seal Wife she turns to the world of Alaska in the early years of the twentieth century. The story is of another love affair between an American sent to the new city of Anchorage and a native Aleut woman.
Kathryn Harrison joins Sheila to talk about The Seal Wife.
Kathryn Harrison, The Seal Wife, published by Fourth Estate; ISBN: 1841157791
