Jacqueline Dankworth Monday 10 December 2001
Jacqueline Dankworth worked as a successful actress for several years before deciding to concentrate on her singing career.

She has sung jazz standards around the world, as well as performing newly commissioned arrangements of Gershwin with the BBC Big Band.
Her own band Field of Blue was formed with her husband Harvey Brough in 1996, and together they have made over 200 appearances over the last three years at a variety of venues. They second album Still was released last year.
Jacqueline and Harvey perform live in the studio and talk about the parallel people draw between them and Jacqueline's parents, the singer Cleo Lane and musician Johnny Dankworth.
Jacqueline will be performing a programme of new and standard songs with Field of Blue at London's Purcell Room, South Bank on Tuesday 11th December at 7.30pm.
