Sport
An international perspective on exercise and sport 5 May 2008
Why do the Norwegians do it better?

According to research by the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation, 50% of British girls are not reaching the recommended exercise of one hour of moderate physical exercise per day. So how does Britain compare with other countries in our attempts to get girls and women exercising and participating in sport? And what are other countries doing that works? Jane is joined by Celia Brackenridge, Professor of Sports Science from Brunel University and Professor Kari Fasting from the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences in Oslo.
