Rooney isn't good enough for England - Sutton
Former England striker Chris Sutton says captain Wayne Rooney is not "good enough" to play for the national side.
Rooney has been dropped to the bench for Tuesday's World cup qualifier in Slovenia and Sutton believes interim manager Gareth Southgate deserves credit for the decision.
He said: "The last two England managers, albeit one extremely short-term one in Sam Allardyce, did not have the gumption to drop him and he should have been dropped."
