Revisited: Northampton, Gosport and Nottingham
Charlie Dimmock revisits a garden in Northampton that was designed to be accessible for a couple's disabled children. We also find out what has become of a theatrical-themed garden in Gosport.
Charlie Dimmock is in Northampton, where sh is revisiting one of the gardens the Rich brothers designed for Louise and Andy. The couple wanted their garden to be accessible for their disabled children, Jamie and Phoebe, with a play area they could use and raised beds for gardening. It turned out to be one of the team’s toughest assignments. Six years later, the garden remains a source of endless fun, and Charlie is delighted to see that the gin deck she suggested has since been built.
Charlie also catches up with opera lovers Nicola and David in Gosport, who wanted a theatrical-themed garden to hit the high notes. Lastly, we revisit a garden in Nottingham inspired by the Lost Gardens of Heligan, which has grown even more beautiful over time.
