Man seriously injured after falling from e-bike

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after falling from an e-bike, police said.

Officers were called at about 09:30 GMT on Sunday 21 December to reports of the incident on the B6060 Nursery Road in North Anston near Sheffield.

The road was closed into the afternoon to allow for investigations, South Yorkshire Police said. The 43-year-old rider remains in hospital.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident is urged to get in touch with police.
