Three charged after teen stabbed in city centre
BBCA 15-year-old boy and two men have been charged after a teenager was stabbed in Birmingham city centre.
West Midlands Police were called to reports of disorder outside the Bullring just after 20:00 GMT on Thursday.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital but has not been left with life-threatening or life changing injuries.
Mussa Gul, 18, Zain Hussain, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have all been charged with wounding with intent, affray, and possession of a bladed article. They have been remanded in custody and are expected to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
Two other men, aged 18 and 22, who were arrested have been released on bail with strict conditions.
Police said it had increased patrols in the city centre after recent incidents had caused concern for visitors and people who live and work in the city.
