Gold medal winning swimmer Vaughan receives OBE
PA MediaMultiple gold medal-winning Paralympian Monica Vaughan has received an OBE for her services to sport.
The swimmer from Waterlooville, Hampshire, put in dominant performances at the games in Toronto in 1976 and in Arnhem in 1980.
She picked up nine Paralympic golds for swimming and one silver for volleyball.
Prince William presented Vaughan with the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) honour at Windsor Castle.
