Witness appeal after woman seriously hurt in crash

A woman suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car in Hull, police have said.

Officers said the crash involved a silver Mini Cooper which hit the 65-year-old pedestrian on Willerby Road, near the junction with Manor Road, at about 19:45 GMT on Thursday.

She was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Humberside Police appealed for witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact officers.
