Police want to speak to the man pictured as part of their investigation

Hundreds of pounds was stolen from a man in his 70s while he was shopping.

The victim had withdrawn the cash before he went to the shops but his wallet was taken from his pocket while he was inside a store in High Street, West Bromwich.

His bank cards were used to withdraw money nearby with another two transactions taking place the following day, West Midlands Police said.

Officers have released a picture of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on 23 September, and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers.
