Nitrous oxide canisters worth £30k seized
West Midlands PoliceHundreds of boxes of nitrous oxide cannisters valued at about £30,000 have been seized from an industrial premises.
Police executed a warrant at an address on Sapcote Trading Estate, on Small Heath Highway, Birmingham, at about 07:00 GMT on Monday.
PC Allison Brown from West Midlands Police said: "[The public's] intelligence can prove to be vital in helping us target those causing harm to communities and bringing to justice those involved in supplying drugs such as nitrous oxide."
No one has been arrested and inquiries continue, according to the force.
Since 2023, it has been a criminal offence to be found in possession of the drug where its intended use is to be wrongfully inhaled.
