Drivers are facing long delays on the M25 in Hertfordshire after a multi-vehicle crash.

National Highways said the incident on Wednesday affected traffic on the M25 anti-clockwise between junction 17 at Rickmansworth - and junction 16 for the M40.

Drivers faced more than 90 minutes of congestion after two lanes were initially shut for almost three hours. Four vehicles are believed to have involved in the collision.

All lanes reopened at about 08:30 GMT with drivers warned of residual delays.
