Festive displays spreading cheer across the region

Some residents have decked their houses out to raise money for charity, while others have done it to spread festive cheer.
Here are just some of those who are working to brighten up the dark, December nights.
Festive: Brothers Lee and Paul Brailsford have decorated their mum's house in Brentry, Bristol, for 30 years. They are raising money for The Grand Appeal.
Ben Birchall/PAMerry Melksham: Residents living down Sarum Avenue in Melksham, Wiltshire, are continuing their annual tradition of lighting up the street.
It is all for a good cause, with proceeds going to Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity.

Kris MarmoyLights for loved ones: This house in South Cerney, Cirencester, has been decorated by Debbie Walton in memory of her mum.
All proceeds will be donated to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
Debbie WaltonSanta Claus is coming to town: A grotto has been built in Melksham, Wiltshire as part of the street display in Sarum Avenue.
So far, the residents have raised more than £3,000 for charity.

Staff are making good use of thousands of empty beer bottles and raising money for Children's Hospice South West.

It is in memory of a relative who died from a brain tumour eight weeks after diagnosis.

There is a box for food and essential supplies which visitors can drop donations into, which will then be given to local charity, Fair Frome.
