Ivy is one of the best evergreen climbers for covering a bare wall. There are many colours available that will brighten up dull corners. 'Glacier' has attractive, triangular, green leaves, with attractive silvery-grey and cream variegation. Plants suit a variety of locations. Grow them up a wall, as a houseplant or even as ground cover. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
