Presenter Tom Redmond will lead the audience in a lively exploration of some of the most exciting orchestral music ever written, all conducted by Holly Mathieson.
BBC Philharmonic Schools' Concerts are the perfect introduction to orchestral music for young audiences and can act a springboard to cross-curricular activities when used in conjunction with the BBC's Ten Pieces resources for teachers and schools.
All the music played in the concerts features in BBC Ten Pieces, an initiative that opens up the world of classical music to 7-14 year-olds, introducing them to inspiring music and empowering them to make their own creative responses.
