Mary Rose Museum
Raised in 1982, the Mary Rose is housed in her own purpose-built museum in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, just a few miles from where she was lost.

See the thousands of Tudor objects and personal possessions that were preserved when Henry’s favourite warship sank at the Battle of the Solent in 1545.
Learn about the huge underwater maritime archaeology project to raise her from the seabed, and come face to face with how the ship’s crew lived, worked and spent their leisure time.
