Adebisi Shank – Oyasmi

Rigsy: ‘You have to be intrigued by music like this’.

Niamh: ‘That track has been stuck in my head because they’ve just announced they're releasing a 3rd album, officially announced this week’

Percolator – Little Demon

Rigsy: ‘...Really loving this’

Niamh: ‘This is from their self-titled E.P it’s brand new…it’s incredibly engaging, reminds me a bit of Death From Above 1979 in a way…and you can download this for free via their bandcamp’

New Ancestors – Don’t Feel Sad

Rigsy: ‘From Belfast and based in Glasgow it’s the 3rd release in a matter of weeks…each coming with a slick video’

Niamh: ‘That guy’s got a great voice’

Maria Somerville – No One Ever Heard

Rigsy: ‘She’s going to be performing shows in Dublin next month ahead of a debut record in 2014’

Niamh: ‘I loved that track, that was gorgeous’

Emma O’Reilly – Winter

Niamh: ‘I just love Emma’s voice and what I really like about her stuff in general is each song offers something different’.

Elastic Sleep – You Only Live Twice

Niamh: ‘ So Elastic Sleep are a new electro synth pop act from Cork, quite a busy band…I think they’re a really talented bunch, I’ve seen this performed live and they actually carry it off really well…they released this during the week for free via their bandcamp…They kind of put their own stamp on it as well, it’s definitely their sound, it’s definitely an Elastic Sleep cover of You Only Live Twice, which is pretty cool’

We Collide – Peacekeeper

Rigsy: ‘From Larne…only been together a few months this is called Peacekeeper, a follow up to debut single which I believe was called ‘Pilots’'

Niamh: ‘The teenager inside me who used to read Kerrang! And watch Scuzz is kind of into this!’
