Shazia waits for Hassan in the Pumpworks, feeling sure everyone is staring and gossiping about her. Eventually he turns up. He tells Shazia that Zenab’s convinced there is something between her and Mushtaq but that he’s reassured her that it’s ridiculous. Shazia confesses that there was something…a long time ago. But she finished it because she could never be the other woman. Hassan surprises Shazia by admiring her decision to walk away. She’s glad that it’s out in the open they put it behind them.
Imran calls to see Mushtaq and finds Rozena already there. The atmosphere between their parents is icy and Rozena is sure Zenab has been crying. Wanting to clear the air, Imran apologises and says he wishes he’d waited till he’d calmed down so they could have discussed things. He waits for Rozena to apologise but she can’t see she has anything to apologise for. They argue until Rozena plays her trump card. She’s the one carrying the baby, Mushtaq’s grandchild. Imran storms outside. He takes out his mobile and dials. Sara answers and we hear Imran tell her that it’s time to tell Mushtaq the truth…he needs to know that he’s already a grandfather!
