The 2008 Eurovision Dance Contest is to be held in Scotland on 6 September, it has been announced.
The event, at the SECC in Glasgow, will be shown live on the BBC and presented by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman.
The inaugural event in London last year was won by Jussi Vaananen and Katja Koukkula, representing Finland.
UK entrants Brendan Cole and Camilla Dallerup, who competed on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, were placed in 15th position - second last.
Dancers from 15 countries will take part in this year's event.
During the show, couples are asked to perform one dance - a freestyle number with a national flavour.
Strictly Come Dancing's Len Goodman and Craig Revell Horwood will offer comments on performances and artistic content.
Viewers will then be asked to vote on the choreography, costume and music.
Elaine Bedell, head of entertainment commissioning at the BBC, said: "This will be an evening of extraordinary dance performance fusing the popularity of Strictly Come Dancing with the scale of Eurovision Song Contest.
"It will be a great event in the great city of Glasgow."
The competition is organised by the European Broadcasting Union.
