Your questions to the Baka people

The Baka people will answer your questions.

The forests of Cameroon are subject to extensive illegal logging. This affects the local communities, which depend on many of the key species felled by the loggers.

A UK based company, Helveta, is developing GPS technology to enable communities to monitor their forest areas using GPS handheld units and online maps.

The BBC's Fergal Keane will be visiting the Baka people in Ngola Baka, to explore how they are using the technology.

The Baka people will also take part in a live-link with pupils from the Vineyard School in Surrey and the Dulwich College in London on Thursday January 31st so that they can share their live experiences and ask questions.
