School Reporters Charlie and Harvey from Catmose College in Rutland arrived at Television Centre for a trip to see how the BBC Sport website operates on a busy Saturday of action
Charlie and Harvey come into the office where the BBC Sport website journalists produce hundreds of reports, news stories, features and blogs and interview the likes of Football League blogger Paul Fletcher
The boys, both keen sport fans, were given the job of writing a story about the speculation surrounding the future of Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale, and they set about their research
It's soon time to start writing the report in the BBC's special system, and Charlie and Harvey work on their intro after an editorial discussion about the most important elements of the story
After crafting a story from Spurs boss Harry Redknapp's quotes about his star player, the boys' work is 'subbed' - the jargon for being checked for spelling, grammar, style etc - by a BBC journalist
A few tweaks later and Charlie and Harvey's work is published on the BBC Sport website. The boys are thrilled to see that it collects thousands of 'hits' in a matter of minutes
BBC Sport stories don't only go on the website; the same story also made it on to the Ceefax and digitext services!
After interviewing BBC journalists Sam Lyon, Paul Fletcher and Phil Harlow about their jobs earlier in the day, it was Harvey and Charlie's turn to be on camera
